THE SURROUNDINGS - Castles and museums

In Val di Non you can find many fascinating castles and manor-houses, many of which are still private today. Many are set in the centers of the villages that stud the valley, while others are set in exceptional places, on the border of a lake or on top of a high, like Castel Thun, which, after 25 years of restoration, has opened the doors of the splendid spaces lived by the Thun family.

Most of the castles which stud Val di Non today are elegant private residences. The castle estate comes abreast of the elegant palaces wisely restored and today bases of temporary expositions of great importance, which can be visited in all their splendor.
